Being in the labour ward was the most frightening experience of my life. It was overwhelming for me. I was so scared because being there I had to think of two things: death and life! Colleen was there to support me as I had no one to hold my hand, no one to tell me that everything would be okay.

 

I felt so much pain and didn't have enough energy to breathe but Colleen took over that part and helped me all the way through. Oh gosh! It all went well. Colleen had all that experience and the advice she gave me about breast-feeding helped me a lot.

 

I thank God and I'm so grateful that she was there for me. My baby is 6 months old now and so healthy and alive! Colleen was my hero.
